India-based First Stock Contest Limited has launched the world’s first Cryptocurrency fantasy gaming platform Rainmaker on August 25. The parent company in its announcement has mentioned that the platform is available on iTunes and Google Play Store.
Before Rainmaker was officially released, it had the same feature for stock trading, replicating that of actual Stock Exchanges in India.
While talking about stock exchanges, Harsh Himmatsingka, the CEO of Rainmaker, said, “Even in stock trading, India is witnessing greater participation from a wider pool of individuals with young professionals rapidly joining the fray. Many of these are coming from tier II and III towns which is encouraging and a strong indicator of a growing investment and earnings mindset.”
According to a public statement, Rainmaker’s exchange is already linked to a global crypto trading platform, which helps the fantasy gaming platform in collecting data and references from live events.
The platform will help the users/players in making trading decisions, while they continue playing the game.
Notably, the platform has already listed 20 different types of paid and free contests. The players are allowed to choose among them and trade their digital assets.
The company, in its announcement, has mentioned that players can opt-out from the game whenever they want, they are not restricted to play the game till the end.
“While India’s love for cryptocurrency trading has outdone that of even the US and China, the knowledge around how to maximize one’s investment in crypto trading is still limited,” added Himmatsingka
As per the report, India is the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency market by adoption. Among the total number of crypto-users, 9 percent claim to be using it.
