CoinDCX, which claims to be India’s largest and safest crypto exchange, is planning to make its debut in the sports world through cricket sponsorship, according to a source.
It has been reported that the crypto trading platform will sponsor the T20 series championship between Sri Lanka and India, which would be organized in Colombo on July 21, 23 and 25.
After the Indian Supreme Court revoked the blanket ban on banks regarding cryptocurrency, digital assets started gaining popularity in the country.
As per the report, CoinDCX will be making its first solid attempt in the sports world by sponsoring the cricket title.
The Indian team participating in the T-20 Series in Colombo would be led by Shikhar Dhawan and the team will be coached by the former Indian cricketer and captain Rahul Dravid.
After the series would be over the team will take a few days break, as it again has five-match Test series against England in Nottingham. The five-match Test series will start from August 04.
Apart from CoinDCX, the edu-tech company Unacademy would also be sponsoring the upcoming championship between India and Sri Lanks.
In 2020, Unacademy also sponsored the Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament.
